Portolando.eu , mashup based on Google Maps , is the evolution of the online book "Guide to the Adriatic ports and harbors" published by the Italian Touring Club in ' scope of the project Portolando , addressed to the enhancement and promotion of the tourist port system of the Northern Adriatic sea and river. Portolando.eu locates the ports included in the project through markers charts that indicate the precise geographical location (based on coordinates of latitude and longitude).
Each marker, when clicked, opens a comic book that contains the specific instructions of the port and links to free resources available online for one geographical location.
