An evening event at Bibliothè: the traditional Indian Kathak dance with the great and the teacher Rosella Fanelli Arjun Misra

Un evento straordinario si terrà il prossimo 12 febbraio, sabato, alle ore 21, al Bibliothè (via Celsa 4/5, accanto a piazza del Gesù). “Shiv-Shakti” è uno spettacolo di danza classica indiana di stile Kathak con la grande danzatrice Rosella Fanelli in coppia per l’occasione col maestro Arjun Misra, accompagnati da musica indiana dal vivo (Vikas Mishra alla tabla). L’evento è presentato dalle associazioni culturali Orchestès e Takiteda.

LO SPETTACOLO. Shiva e Shakti sono nell’essenza della Kathak Dance, together represent the key element of the universe, the mysterious one who remains at the root of all reality. The dancer Rosella Fanelli together with the dancer and Master Arjun Mishra Anuj Mishra, create a performance of traditional Indian classical dance where the narrative-gestural and rhythmic elements weave together to recount the exploits of Shiva, in his dual aspect of male and female ( Shakti). At the sound of mantras in Sanskrit devotional dancers create choreography that tell the myths of ancient India: the story of Shiva and his marriage to a girl of high lineage, and the episode of Sati Parvati, the story of Kama Deva, God Indian Love. Indian Kathak dance. It 'a classic style of North India. ROSELLA FANELLI. Professional dancer of Indian classical dance style of Kathak. He earned the title "Pravin" gold medal in Kathak from Prayag Sanghit specialties Institute Samiti of Allahabad in India (2002). His training is based on a study of twenty years under the guidance of Maestro Pandit Arjun Misra, Lucknow (UP India). Since 2008 he has been teaching Kathak Dance at the Conservatory A. Pedrollo of Vicenza in the course of academic expert in non-European musical traditions to address indological. Since 2004, the ICAR Journal of Examiners for the United States and Europe at the Institute of Indian music Sanghit Prayag Samiti of Allahabad for the following subjects: Kathak dance, Tabla, Singing Indian Sitar. Nel Marzo 2010 ha fondato l’Associazione Ta Ki Te Dha che si prefigge di promuovere un movimento culturale creativo per la diffusione della cultura e del patrimonio artistico dell’India.

VIKAS MISHRA tablista, percussionista di rara precisione ritmica proveniente dalla Benares Gharana (musica indiana del Nord). Si presenta come abile solista ed eccezionale accompagnatore per la danza Kathak. Ha anche partecipato ad eventi teatrali.
